Restaurant's

There are many fine restaurants in Orlando with such diversity, specialising in specific themes, others fast food and some in exotic cultural specialties.
Whatever you and your family wish to eat you are probably going to find a restaurant that you will enjoy from the selection below, there's bound to be something that suits your budget and taste buds!
All the restaurants reviewed are situated within the Formosa Gardens Shopping Centre, which are situated within walking distance from the villa.
Take a look at the reviews and the menus where available, we have personally tried each restaurant except Taco Bells and found them all to have something exciting to offer and to a high standard of cuisine. They all provide a take-away service if you find them to busy, or prefer a relaxing meal in the villa with out the worry or mess of cooking for your self.
Whichever you choose, we don't think that you will be disappointed with the choice and quality available within such a short distance from the villa.
Bon appetite!

Carrabba's is one of the best family restaurants for that authentic Italian meal with excellent service and food. Johnny Carrabba and his uncle Damian Mandola founded Carrabba's Italian Grill in Houston Texas in December 1986. Many of the recipes on the menu are that of Damien's mother and sister Rose. The food represents the very best of unique Italian dishes available. At Carraba's they are passionate about the flavour of their food and only use the highest of quality products available. Discover a variety of fresh handmade dishes cooked to order, their house specialities include crispy calamari, chicken marsala, fillet tenderloin, unique pasta dishes, handmade pizzas baked in a wood -burning oven, fresh fish and seafood, meats basted with special seasoning and served with a variety of home made sauces.
This is our favourite restaurant in Orlando and definitely recommend that you try it.

T.G.I. Friday's was one of the first American dining chains. The first T.G.I. Friday's opened in 1965 and was located at First Avenue and 63rd Street in New York City and featured red and white stripes, a blue exterior and it's name - T.G.I. Friday's. Inside it's unique décor featured wooden floors, Tiffany lamps, bentwood chairs and striped tablecloths, the bar area had brass rails and stained glass all this contributed to the ambiance. To furnish T.G.I. Friday's interior décor, a full time antique "picker" travelled extensively to auctions and flea markets. Memorabilia had to be authentic and, if possible unique to the area where the restaurant was located.
In 1998 T.G.I. Friday's celebrated the opening of their 100th International restaurant and then its 35th anniversary in 2000, the first casual dining chain to reach that milestone.
T.G.I. Friday's offers an unsurpassed menu and selection of food prepared to perfection, served in a lively, engaging atmosphere.

Bil Dardon founded the original Red Lobster restaurant in 1968 along with his 19-year-old protégé Joe Lee in Lakeland, Florida.
They had a vision that great service was fundamental to success, so their new concept, Red Lobster, was built on that simple premise, along with the promise of offering great seafood at value price, this established Red Lobster as the leader in seafood restaurants. They introduced the country to calamari, snow crab and hush puppies, not to mention popcorn shrimp.

In 1974 Efren Boglio and his brother Joseph opened the first Giordano's restaurant in Chicago, which was named after his mother, specialising in her deep-dish, double-crusted pizza. Giordano's has received stunning accolades from the New York Times as " the ultimate pizza; the Chicago Magazine proclaimed it "best in the city" and NBC's "Today Show" declared it "best pizza in America". All their pizzas feature generous portions of the finest and freshest ingredients along with a custom blend of the highest quality Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
You can enjoy their famous stuffed pizza and their array of famous sandwiches, salads and pastas not forgetting the traditional savoury thin crust pizza by visiting them in Formosa Gardens just a couple of minutes drive from the villa.

The outback steakhouse is a themed Australian restaurant that serves food with an 'antipodean twist', they serve only the highest quality tucker, their Midwestern beef, chicken and fish is the highest quality choice available, all dishes are only cooked from fresh (never frozen). The Outback Steakhouse is the only restaurant where you can drink and eat outside on the tabled sidewalk at the Formosa Gardens Mall, but you may only order appetizers and deserts but with the size of them that's often enough.
Our favourite's are the Aussie cheese fries, Bloomin' Onion, Breaded Mushrooms with Barbie sauce and Grilled Shrimp from the Barbie. There are a good selection of American beers and remember all soft drinks can be refilled free of charge.
A family favourite but expect quite a wait for a table inside sometimes, as this is a very popular restaurant. G'day mates.

Why not try one of the world famous Subway sandwiches from this local shop, which is part of the world's largest chain of sandwich shops.
The first Subway shop was opened in 1965 by a 17 year old Fred DeLuca and his partner Peter Buck in Bridgeport, Connecticut. It was originally called Pete's Super Submarines, their first advertising campaign used the slogan "try one for Pete's sake".
On opening their fifth shop in 1968 the name was shortened to Subway, which is still being used today at over 15,000 restaurants worldwide.
